Abstract


Law students to learn not only a large number of cases, statutes and jurisprudence, must also learn the language of the law. In legal language, the various jargon, idioms, the old saying, foreign words abound, even for legal bearing language learners in terms of native speakers, the language of the law can be termed as a foreign language, and to the first to learn two languages ??as the medium of learners in terms of the law is more obscure, no wonder the learner in the learning process, mostly facing huge difficulties. This difficulty is overcome to a certain extent in order to help legal English learners acquire a certain amount of learner strategies, this article intends to introduce semantics method an effective way to provide a learning legal English that semantics of ways. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter expounds the relationship between the law and the language, and pointed out the key role of the language law. Chapter a brief overview of the domestic and foreign scholars on the study of the relationship between language and legal brief introduction to some of the impact the larger scholars and their writings, and pointed out that it is rarely associated with this article topics, with the icon wears The combined semantics as a legal learner strategies, which discusses the practical significance of this writing. The last part of the chapter legal vocabulary teaching teaching five-step method combined with Cohen's strategy and design part of the exercise. Chapter V concludes semantics method is an effective learning strategy, assisted learners to some extent on the legal vocabulary learning. While some issues worthy of further study.
