Abstract


The user may not know desired information which corner of the network , but just remember that Google, Baidu , in theory, as long as enough time , enter the keyword , the patience to read all relevant results pop , and would certainly be able to get the desired answer. Search engines change the ways and habits of people online , changing the way of information dissemination . Even from search engine development trend the great dominant tendency of the Internet search engine whether to become a network information \Explore the search engines work (sort of way ) and the cognitive set the agenda for the search engine , is not only a technical problem, more of the monopoly and control of information dissemination . The one hand, the search engine is usually its most central sorting technology and value standards to maintain highly confidential state On the other hand , the people had massive amounts of information stored by Internet rely on search engines , blind obedience or even know the agenda set helplessly succumb . This paper hopes to explore the relationship between the search engine and information control two depth . First, the causality of the search engine development and information control ; Second, users ( audience) weakness caused by search engine controlled by the helplessness of the situation . The papers from the history and development of the speed of the Internet and search engines begin with , cut from the angle of propagation significance , leads to the close relationship between the search engine and information control . The subsequent investigation and detailed analysis of user habits , respectively, from the two dominant point of view of the search engine and the audience further demonstrate the ubiquity of the phenomenon of information control of commercial operation of the search engine and sort .
