Abstract


This paper studies and solve the problems of the modern industrial control field bus smaller , can not be long-distance transmission control information \All things considered , this paper proposes a design , the use of the Internet as a transmission medium , to construct a virtual CAN bus , namely: to design an intermediate module, one end of the CAN interface for connection to industrial equipment ; one end of the Ethernet interface connected to the Internet ; intermediate module is responsible for the CAN data packet transmitted over the Internet , and the whole process is transparent to industrial equipment , do not know the existence of intermediate module and the Internet . In this way, by the middle module and the Internet as a whole is composed of virtual CAN bus . This paper studies the the intermediate module design : the use of embedded computer solutions . The hardware S3C44B0X microcontrollers based on the ARM7TDMI core CPU, with 2MB of the NorFlash a the 16MB of nandflash 8MB of SDRAM and 10MB / s Ethernet control chip RTL8019AS , a CAN controller MCP2510 SPI-based interface , and a number of other auxiliary circuits transplantation ; software for the system uClinux operating system , the preparation of a variety of hardware drivers. On this basis , the application uClinux TCP / IP protocol stack and abstract device model , to achieve CAN bus data packets transmitted over the Internet function . The experimental results show that this design is successful, can realize the non- real-time control .
