Transmission line is an important part of the power system.In order to ensure a reliable and stable power system, you need to run on a regular basis as required for maintenance of transmission lines, as society develops, growing power systems, complex, and more traditional methods of maintenance is no guarantee that the health of the transmission lines, therefore, the effective operation of the urgent need for a set of reliable, costly maintenance cycle shorter transmission line online monitoring system, thus enhancing the transmission line of automation, the level of digital, information, guarantee the reliability of the power system.This paper transmission line online real-time monitoring system is mainly completed: obtaining the various transmission line parameter, and set the data to be transferred to the wireless communication technology background analysis and judgement of software systems for transmission lines, current status and history of the running state.This article first discuss the analysis of the current transmission lines condition-based maintenance monitoring technology for the development of, and the use of modern electronic technology, communication technologies, a computer system’s new transmission lines online monitoring system diagram.Power part urgent problems, it has made the high pressure around video surveillance towers, transmission line channel video monitoring, video surveillance and vibration testing for intruder alert stop towers, transmission line cable junction temperature wireless detection, SAG wireless detection and line icing detection, etc.And in relation to the implementation of the overall framework of the system, the hardware platform design, communications protocol design and background design software system.
