Abstract
|
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) was a new type of radar based on the principle of synthetic aperture and pulse compression technology, it has got widely used in both military and civil fields. Missile-borne SAR is an important branch of Synthetic Aperture Radar, which can create high-resolution, real-time radar images and improve the strike precision of missile. Because of vital significance in military field, there have more and more research in missile-borne SAR. Missile-borne SAR has different characters with air-borne and space-borne SAR because of its high speed, motion attitude jitter and requirement of real-time, so high-efficiency imaging algorithm and real-time motion compensation is very important for Missile-borne SAR.In this paper, by expounding the theory of SAR and analyzing R-D algorithm, a high resolution real-time sub-aperture imaging algorithm with the Dechirp method and SPECAN processing is discussed, It is fit the missile-borne condition and simulation results verify the algorithm.Motion compensation is a necessary step of missile-borne SAR imaging because of the missile’s motion track is different from ideal track. This paper analyses the motion error of missile-borne platform in details, and studies motion-errors in ground speed direction and Line of Sight (LOS) direction, and establish the model of motion-error in two direction individually. Based on these models, the principles of effect of motion-error on the quality of SAR image are discussed. Through the Doppler phase error caused by motion-error, the real-time motion compensation methods in the two directions are analysed.Based on the imaging algorithm and real-time motion compensation discussed in chap 3 and chap 4, this paper introduce a R-D imaging algorithm combined with real-time motion compensation and proves its feasibility and validity for missile-borne SAR through simulation.
