Abstract


Packet voice technology is an emerging technology to develop very rapidly in recent years in the world. It breaks through the traditional telephony circuit-switched mode, the effective use of existing packet network resources to achieve the network transmission of voice signals, thereby expanding the range of voice communication, and reduce the cost of voice communications. Packet voice technology combines a variety of transmission media such as voice, video and data, and fully meet all the senses of the people, to achieve the most effective and the most vivid and direct exchange of information. Packet voice technology research and development is an important issue in the process of the development of China's information industry of China's national economic construction has great practical significance. VoFR (Voice over Frame Relay) voice technology is a voice transmission technology in the packet voice technology, which uses a frame relay network to transmit voice and voice data. Frame Relay Forum FRF.11 protocol released in 1997 for the frame relay network to transmit voice standards. , Cisco, Motorola and other major manufacturers have VoFR technology integrated into the router provide voice gateway with VoFR function. The emergence of the voice gateway with VoFR function VoFR this voice technology has been widely used in practice. The topics to FRF.11 protocol criteria proposed by VoFR gateway design and realization. In this issue, mainly to complete the work of the following aspects: 1) independent analysis VoFR two calls - Switch the calling mode and Trunk call way. 2) According to the characteristics of both call and the work of the existing voice platform, designed a new call flow and achieve. The voice gateway development VoFR unit testing, system testing, stress testing. The final test results show that the entire VoFR voice gateway design is reasonable, stable performance, reliable, in line with the needs of the router voice gateway hardware and software platform. Research and Implementation of VoFR increased VoFR voice gateway router, enriching the original function of the router, and improve the voice gateway voice protocol for packet-switched domain. This paper briefly describes the the VoFR voice technology status and VoFR of key technologies, focuses on the the two calls VoFR way. Once again expounded module of the VoFR Agreement in which the software environment, and elaborates the VoFR module design and implementation program.
