Abstract


With the rapid development of digital TV, DVD and network streaming technology , video compression and video codec technology play an increasingly larger role in people's daily lives . With the development of video compression technology and codec platform enhance processing speed , the majority of users with smaller cost to obtain a clearer and more high-speed multimedia services . In the past two decades , the general-purpose , high - quality digital video has been the target of various companies, developers , standards bodies . MPEG-4 (ISO / IEC 14496-2) standard H.264 (ISO / IEC 14496-10) standard is the face looking better compression tool needs two video compression standard . MPEG-4 ASP technology has been widely used in mobile MP4 player , network media occasions now , with the broad market. For each chip manufacturers , technicians video service operators , in order to provide faster and better service , the need for a software MPEG-4 encoding elementary streams (ES) analysis and judgment their basic whether the stream conform to the requirements of the MPEG-4 standard . In order to meet this demand, the development of an oriented MPEG-4 stream analysis software is very meaningful . MPEG-4 stream analysis software described in this article is my Master during research projects . It is based on the WINDOWS system , VISUAL C platform, the development of a software , you can complete the extract stream , real-time display of images of the stream function , and compliance with standards of basic flow detection . The software can dynamically window displays the information of the current frame , and can play in single inlet , single back function to facilitate testing . In this paper , the authors introduce the MPEG-4 standard , as well as the appropriate codec code , and detailed description of development of MPEG - 4 elementary stream analysis software features as well as the realization of various functional modules .
