Abstract


GSM-R is China Railway formally adopted at the end of 2000, originated in Europe advanced railway wireless communication system . Mature GSM -based increase in many of the advanced features of the railway . Due to differences in the Chinese Railway and Rail Europe , so far , a lot of localization work in progress , including system network , in-car terminal and the ground terminal and supporting facilities . The technical bottleneck factors still not a local R \u0026 D and production in China handheld Taiwan . To fill this gap , the purpose of this project is to design a basic functional prototype of an ordinary civilian GSM phone with GSM - R standard features and at the same time meet the business needs of the Chinese railway GSM-R handheld terminal , GSM-R mobile phone . This product is typical of embedded systems , ARM processor (SC32442), embedded operating system (Linux) as well as the choice of the upper graphical development environment will make it different from other products is the key . Draws such as a train car sets and other GSM-R project experience and methods in the application part of the development , combined with the specific hardware and software of the phone platform . As part of this huge issue , this paper focuses on this phone program selection and custom development environment , including the underlying operating system and development environment of the upper .
