Abstract


Telephone communication is the main type of communication mode in the world, and it plays an important role in the information society. Along with the popularization of computers, computer network has become the necessary part of the office tool in many fields. If the telephone communication system is implemented by using the existing computer network, we will save much telephone fees and the device and project fees for building program-controlled exchange network, and decrease the fixing period, and improve the utilization of internet resources.This paper mainly discusses the telephone communication system based on the existing computer network. The system can be used in the local area network to realize the communication. On the basis of AMBE speech compression algorithm, the telephone network terminal system with 8 users is studied. The hardware design is researched especially in this paper. This system is controlled by C8051F023. The speech compression is realized by TM chip AMBE-2000. The telephone terminal is joined computer with USB100.On the other hand, the software is wrote by C51, the network system software is developed by Microsoft VC++6.0 and SQL Server 2000. The anti-jamming method is used to improve the system reliability. The computer network system is accomplished after debugging and experiment. The experiments display that the telephone network terminal system can work with 8 users and this system can receive the better speech quality in the lower transmission rate.This system can be widely applied in education system, science and technology system, electric power system, bank system, public security system, it has a widely future.
