Abstract

China since the founding of the development of the highway have long lagged behind the needs of economic construction and reform and opening-up, this lag is undoubtedly exposed. In order to solve the problem of a serious shortage of funds for highway construction, the State Council as a means of financing the toll road to start the development of highway construction. After 20 years of development, China's highway construction has made great achievements at the same time, there are quite a few problems, led to a huge controversy. This article will be divided into three parts, to discuss the status quo and development trend of China's highways. Through the discussion of three parts, from the reality of our country, combined with the evolution provided by the developed countries, road, highway trends for our future direction guidance. The first part is a Highway Overview, this part discusses the highway meaning of the status quo and attributes made. The highway is the development of human civilization to a certain stage analysis can be roughly divided into four stages, from the history of the development of the highway. Our so-called road classification on the road in the modern sense, from its two angles. After the founding of New China, China's highway industry has gone through several stages, and has made great achievements, but there is not a small gap with the developed countries. Have different performance attributes of the road in the theory and reality from the perspective of public goods. The second part is a study of the status quo of China's highways. This paper discusses the process of the use of literature analysis, data analysis, theory combined with practical and comparative analysis of research methods. All in all, the road to provide on the one hand should be based on the public property of the highway, on the other hand should be in accordance with national realities, learn from the developed countries highway provides reasonable ingredients to build a road suitable for China's economic and social development in the future mode of delivery .
