Abstract


Due to the development of the global economy and total open-up to WTO for our country, the market contest is becoming fiercer. As the foundation industry, secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms are faced with a greater difficulty,in view of a long time in the planned economy. Through the competitiveness evaluation, enterprises can know their own advantages, shortages and the corresponding strategy that they should be taken. Although the research on enterprise competitiveness evaluation home and aboard is abundant, the study especially on secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms is vacant. And there is not a uniform competition appraisal system, which is special for secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms. So the enterprise competitiveness evaluation is a new domain which is worth studying for practical need and theoretic exploration.This paper concludes the five elements of competition evaluation by analyzing the development, characteristics of secondary electric power equipment manufacture industry on the basis of competition theory study at diversified aspects home and aboard. Based on the elements, the paper establishes competition evaluation index system for secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms. This evaluation index system is not like as the traditional one, which depended only on financial index, because it is special for secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms from multiaspects. Otherwise, this paper selects several public limited companines to competition appraisal demonstratively analyze in virtue of factor analyze, clustering analyze methods.Finally, the paper puts forward the corresponding measures for the fims with radar map clearly.This paper goes into particular for secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms’competition factors,so that it can offer scientific theory methods for secondary electric power equipment manufacture firms evaluation and the development strategy establishment.
