Abstract


The energy security is an important part of energetic strategy of country. China is the great nation that produces and consumes an abundant of oil of the world, and has a huge demand to the oil and gas. Russia is the great nation that produces and exports a lot of oil and gas to the world, who is abundant of oil and gas. Besides, as neighboring countries, the energy cooperation between China and Russia not only has the necessity, but also has the vital significance of consolidating the Chinese and Russian strategic cooperation partnership.This article analyzes the energetic straits of Russia, the current status of energy development in China and Russia, the problems of energy between China and Russia, finally, we get a conclusion by analyzing the questions above and therefore make appropriate policies to promote the energy cooperation between China and Russia. Energy occupies a very important position in the field of the development of country and the safety of energy in Russia. Though there are many restrictions of cooperation between China and Russia, such as that the way of cooperation is not clear enough, infrastructural facilities are fall behind, the content of cooperation is single, be lack of a clear mechanism for pricing and law, etc. the cooperation potential in energetic field between China and Russia is big, the cooperation prospect is extremely broad through the fast development of economy. With the rapid development of economy, China has a big demand of oil and gas, therefore, we could say, Sino-Russian energy cooperation is the economic interests of both countries, the development of China-Russia energy cooperation is conductive to the protection of China’s energy security. Meanwhile, from the Russian side, the development of economy of Russia calls for that they must export oil to China, which provide Russia with a platform to participate in the international oil market. One is the great nation of resource producer, the other is the great nation of resource consumer, Sino-Russia energy cooperation is broad that providers unlimited space for development of the two countries.Therefore, China-Russia energy cooperation is a win-win and mutually beneficial cooperation. Though there are some problems and restraining factors in Sino-Russian energy cooperation, we believe, through the great effort of both countries, losing no time to seize the opportunities, actively participating in international competition, establishing practical long-term strategic planning, will definitely provide effective protection of both countries and promote Sino-Russian energy cooperation to achieve new substantive results and could make a smooth development of energy cooperation forever.
