Striding into the twenty-first century, the international energy security’s issues are highlighting, energy intense competition, geopolitical risks rise, and the frequent price fluctuations. As a major importer of energy into the ranks of China, China’s energy demand in the new century with new changes.These changes caused by factors that include both domestic and international plane, the international factors, mainly the energy changes in the geopolitical situation caused by the changes in China’s energy imports, there is a change in international energy prices, while domestic factors is the With the economic development process of urbanization, industrialization, reform, these factors together to make our country’s energy sector faces many challenges, science against China’s energy demand and energy security, to analyze, for formulating the correct energy development planning, the protection of national security, to promote the rapid development of China’s national economy and the grand strategic objectives of great significance.In this paper, the conception of energy security, energy security, an overview of relevant theory analysis, combined with the factors that affect China’s energy demand, pointing out that China’s energy needs facing the new situation. On this basis, using cointegration and error correction model to establish an empirical model of China’s energy demand, the integrated use of ADF tests, long-run equilibrium equation, the error correction model (ECM), put forward the influencing factors of China’s energy demand dynamic analytical framework, and obtained between the various factors and the long-run equilibrium relationship between short-term behavior. Accordingly, the focus on energy demand in the new situation is given to national energy security, energy supply disruptions and that the three possibilities, the external effects of energy imports, energy security, the impact of total revenue, initially put forward to ensure national energy security-related measures, in order to China’s energy security to provide a more reasonable data reference and recommendations.
