With the substantial increase of the state-of-the-art water combat weapons of mass destruction , the impact of the environment of submarine structures , equipment and personnel is even worse . Submarines, anti- explosion performance has become an important indicator to measure the technical performance of its combat . Therefore, in order to adapt to the requirements of the 21st century naval warfare , anti - explosion impact the ability of the submarine , research submarine new protective structure is a very urgent task has major military and economic benefits . The saddle -shaped bulkhead structure to a submarine stern end bulkhead structure recently proposed by the circular ring shells , spherical shells , and strength to strengthen the connection between the two rings . In this paper, this new form of structure , the use of finite element software ANSYS / LS -DYNA , its analysis of the dynamic response of the underwater explosion loads . The paper analyzes sphere shell radius , strong reinforcement ring radius , strengthen anti - explosion shock ring sectional dimensions , spherical shell thickness , the toroidal shell thickness , sphere shell and donut shell thickness ratio of the main design parameters of the saddle -shaped bulkhead structure the impact of the performance . The paper also analyzes the explosives orientation , the amount of explosives dynamic response of the structure of the saddle bulkheads . Numerical results show that : strengthen the radius of the ring structure of the saddle bulkheads great impact properties of anti- explosion , strengthening the ring section height , width value is close to the saddle -shaped bulkhead structure to explosive shock resistance performance will be better ; ball shell radius of the smaller , saddle -shaped bulkhead structure explosion impact resistance the better the performance , but the impact is limited ; varying only the thickness of the ball shell only anti - explosive shock performance ball shell itself , and the reinforcement ring and ring the shell explosion of anti- impact properties almost no impact Similarly , the changes in the thickness of the annular shell only Toroidal Shells itself anti - explosion performance . In the same explosion from the different amount of explosives case , the axial displacement of the measuring points in the structure and the Von Mises stress parabolic increase with the dose approximation .
