Abstract


Objective: subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) cerebral vasospasm (CVS) is the main reason for the high mortality and morbidity in patients with intracranial aneurysms , the main hazards of CVS lead to cerebral hypoxic-ischemic damage , but on CVS mechanism and the underlying cause brain damage has not been fully elucidated , the lack of effective means of prevention and treatment . A large number of clinical and basic research that \certainly one of the drugs . To this end , we have adopted the experimental rabbit SAH model, evaluation of intra-arterial infusion of nimodipine treatment efficacy , and dose selection of CVS after SAH . : \80 purebred New Zealand White rabbits randomly divided into four groups ( n = 20 ) , all with pillow large pool of secondary injection the established blood CVS model , three of them were low , medium and high three different doses of nimodipine parallel selective arterial infusion therapy , another group of 20 New Zealand rabbits were used as a control , using only arterial perfusion saline treatment . Through behavioral , HE staining and other methods of cerebral angiography . Results: neurological functional status the nimodipine group of rabbits was significantly better than the control group . Nimodipine in the high-dose group compared with the the nimodipine low dose group , the treatment effect is a significant difference , the more effective the treatment CVS ( P lt; 0.05 ) , nimodipine , between the high-dose group treatment , no significant differences in the efficiency . Basement pathological examination confirmed the occurrence of vasospasm arterial infusion therapy , can significantly reduce the apoptosis of nerve cells in the brain caused by the CVS . Conclusion: Nimodipine selective arterial perfusion effective mitigation and treatment of the clinical symptoms of CVS , and mitigation the brain pathology CSV injury and apoptosis . Middle dose group to achieve a therapeutic effect , increasing the dose meaningless .
