Abstract

Objective To explore the feasibility of clinical application of heterogenous swine and goat acelluar dermal matrix with microskin by observing healings of the wounds . Methods four inpatients with deep and extensive burns were enrolled in this study.Eschars were excised 3-5 days later .Razor-thin graft were made into microskin.Microskin were scattered onto heterogenous swine and goat acelluar dermal matrix. Then they were grafted on the wound . The survival of the microskin grafts and heterogenous acellular dermal matrix, and the wound healing time were observed. Results GADMs and SADMs wih autogenic microskin were grafted on 8 wounds of 4 cases .Wounds were cured completely and the healing time was 43~60 days [(51±6)days]。Conclusions It is feasible to use heterogenous acellular dermal matrix(ADM) with autogenic microskin to cover deep burn wounds .Therefore it is hopeful of replacing alloskin by heterogenous acellular dermal matrix.
