Abstract


With the development of linguistics, psychology and pedagogy , a new understanding of foreign language teaching , syntax definition also gives a new meaning . This new meanings actually reflects a new language concepts . This new concept is not only to explain the language as a system of knowledge or rules , and a greater emphasis on the essential meaning of the language as a communication tool . Although the traditional focus on grammar teaching pedagogy achievements of many excellent linguist , however, its own shortcomings we had it to rethink . From a historical perspective and language acquisition perspective , the necessity of grammar teaching is unquestioned, but its role from a dominant position to a secondary status . Thus , the challenge we face is not whether or not to teach grammar , but how to more effectively teach grammar . 1970s communicative approach as popular in the world of foreign language teaching theory , revealing the nature and objectives of the social function of language and foreign language teaching , and always Communicative Competence as the core of foreign language teaching , to some extent make up for the the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods . In this paper, analysis of the characteristics of the status of the teaching of grammar , in principle , the process of grammar acquisition and communicative approach , principles, advantages and disadvantages . And how to not only focus on the form and function of the language , the student center of the classroom , the form of language teaching and the teaching of the language features flexible organic combine to enable students to take the initiative to participate in meaningful and enjoyable language communication live . Integrated communicative teaching methods of teaching grammar , to explore more effective grammar teaching approach . Enhance students' grammar rules form , meaning and use of awareness in contrast to traditional teaching methods with integrated grammar teaching , combined with teaching examples further illustrate the feasibility of integration , and explore some of the factors involved in the implementation process .
