Abstract


In this thesis, Nida \peer-to-peer \In the comparison process , showing the two translations of the same and different , and to identify which one is better . This thesis is divided into parts. The first part briefly introduces Nida \The second part of the Thomas Hardy novel \Part III faced with two Chinese translation of meaning , style and culture tripartite A comparative study of the system . Section IV analyzes and find out imperfections in both Chinese translation translation the mistranslation and drain translation and other aspects of the problem , and try to give a reasonable suggestions and corrections . Through a comparative study , the paper draw the following conclusions : In the process of translation, the translator if you want a thorough understanding of the original , he must fully consider the meaning of the word , syntax and context to achieve semantic functional equivalence ; translator should efforts to convey the original style characteristics that make the reader to be able to obtain the same or similar feelings and original readers ; translation is not only the conversion of the two languages ??, two different cultures and transplantation , the translator needs based on Nida \translation theory and cultural factors in the original to make adjustments , to seek the law of conversion of linguistic forms , the translator primitive translation to achieve the most proximate natural equivalent of the level of translation .
