Abstract


The 21st century is an ecologic times which the human is transferred into an ecological society from that of industry. The optimistic condition for urban constructions are environmental protection. ecological balance, society in harmony, and living in satisfactory. Meanwhile, it also should be kept in mind to keep a sustainable development and build an efficiently, healthy and just urban society.The new-version of "Hangzhou City General Plan (2001-2020)" raise a concept on city space layout which means one core, three sub-core, two axes, six groups and other six ecological belts. In this concept, that six ecological belts is confirmed for the base of Hangzhou city ecological improvement. As the matter of fact, these regions are restricted on city expansion and natural resource protection. The essay generally analysis on ecological plan theory and methodology based on sustainable development. Meanwhile, the essay discusses on ecological planning implementation with the example of Hangzhou ecological regions, and analysis their ecological elements and also existing situation. In conclusion, the essay approached the way and strategy on planning development and control.The essay is consists of six chapters which details are as following:Chapter one is pre-content. It includes the general study direction with background, main contents, purpose and methodology.Chapter two is about theory. Referring on abroad eco-theory improvement and city ecological construction activities, the essay explains some experiences or lessons for Hangzhou ecological development by means of cases analysis.Chapter three is core for relevant theory analysis on Hangzhou city ecological regions plan including various implementation measures.Chapter four analysis and evaluate the ecological elements, ecological function, ecological sensitivity and ecological capacity for Hangzhou ecological regions by means of comparing various eco-planning ways. Chapter five is mainly discussing on strategic eco-plan study of Hangzhou including society, natural, economy. It analysis the ecological regions division measures for forbidden, restriction or reasonable. It studies on the distribution of ecological units and index control strategy. Finally, the chapter discusses on implementation policies and recommendation.Chapter six makes a conclusion for the essay and a forecast for further study.
