Abstract


People’s livelihood news means the news which pays careful attention to people’s surviving and living condition and social politics, economics, cultural construction. In recent years, people’s livelihood news, paying attention to common people’s living condition, stretching from TV media to plane media, expanding from“small people’s livelihood”to“large people’s livelihood”, has lately become the most common news value orientation of the news media. The traditional paper-made news media---newspaper, which has been behaving positively in spreading news of people’s living condition, has not only won the readers and market, but also had a wide influence on the whole society. The theorists’studies on TV people’s livelihood news are quite mature, while those on paper people’s livelihood news are pretty rare. Therefore, the combination of news narrative of the theory of China’s newspaper for news on the people’s livelihood, have strong theoretical and practical significance.People’s livelihood news is a quite high-qualified state of news instead of an independent news form or news style. It shows more about a value orientation referring to practice activities of news media and journalists.“View the people as the foundation”is the essential characteristic of people’s livelihood news. Comparing to traditional news, people’s livelihood news has its unique narrating surviving advantages: the affinity of narrating style, the width of narrating spot and the close watch of narrating angle, and so on. News narration includes three basic questions, which are:“what to narrate, who to narrate and how to narrate”. People’s livelihood news is particular about vivid and fresh narrating materials .And common people’s daily life is such a rich ore of news that are full of people’s livelihood news.“Who will make his (her) voice heard”, as the controller of country’s ideology, media is the“narrator”of people’s livelihood news. Through reports, it acknowledges information, publishes opinions, guides public opinions, expresses people’s voices and wishes, shows“Serve people with whole heart”--the principal aim of media. People’s livelihood news holds its faith as“pay careful attention to people’s livelihood, love and care people’s livelihood, show concern for people’s livelihood”strongly holds content, visual angle, ground of people’s livelihood. Through applying the narrating styles and narrating strategies that people love to hear and see, it has promoted the taste and quality of people’s livelihood news, showed human care and ultimate care of the media.
