Abstract


Waterfront landscape is regarded as an integral part of the urban landscape, the landscape is the most abundant in amount of information, have the areas of natural environment key element and artificial key element concurrently in the urban public space, form the most important location of the landscape characteristic, is influencing the whole style of the city. Urban waterfront landscape planning and design should be grown harmoniously for the planning idea naturally with people, pay attention to physical integrity and waterfront land-use diversity, and focus on integration of the protection of historical and cultural streets, improve Waterfront cultural connotations, characteristics of urban renewal landscape features, thus creating a good personality with the waterfront environment.This text proceeds with angle of landscape planning and design, after understanding the design of the shape of waterfront district of foreign city and state of development, have analyzed the national urban waterfront development and design status and the existence of various issues, and then explained the concept, design tactics and theory involved, the necessity mounded to the waterfront landscape characteristic has been analyzed. In familiar with the waterfront development principles and processes on the basis of the waterfront landscape planning into the urban landscape of the entire system, from a macro on the overall function of the location, land-use analysis of the concept of urban space on the form Shape, local historical and cultural heritage, natural ecological elements distribution; micro-environment landscape features on the construction of these three dimensions to analyze riverside landscape development to solve a range of issues, and use cases to specify.Hope that through the study of this topic, China’s urban waterfront landscape planning and design established in the scientific, artistic nature and the integration of people on the basis of artificial system and the harmonious unity of natural systems, human landscape and the natural landscape of the symbiotic communion. The establishment of waterfront scenery is different from the traditional model of a popular landscape feature of the waterfront landscape region, which reflects a city’s character, strengthening the impression city, raising the city’s grade.
