Abstract


The Chemical Properties Database has become a the Chemical Technology personnel chemical design, simulation, optimization calculation indispensable tool. Either independent user-oriented, providing services, can also be embedded in the chemical process simulation systems and dedicated systems, provide data became the basis of the chemical process simulation software. Chemical simulation software, using each of the physical properties database, data consistency is not supported, and the interoperability of the database can not be met. EU-sponsored open Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE-OPEN), defines a standard interface for each part of the process simulator, process simulator components \direction. Development and support of CAPE-OPEN (CO) standard chemical physical property database, save social resources to accelerate the development of chemical process simulation software, to improve the competitiveness of enterprises has important practical significance. CAPE-OPEN standards goal is to achieve the process simulator component interface standardization, simulator components under minimal effort components of the simulator can be seamlessly replaced. Windows XP environment using Office2003 Microsoft Access software database contains 4980 kinds of substances (mainly organic) of 89 basic physical properties and model parameters, and data storage and management. Unified Modeling Language UML, modeling of the physical properties database, established a database of the physical properties of the five participants, 3 interface of the physical properties of the database design and research each interface corresponding method. The VC language development supports CAPE-OPEN standard chemical physical property database components COmyPPDB. VB programming environment, a reference component COmyPPDB client program was developed to achieve a user property data add storage, query, retrieve, and to achieve the eight kinds of thermodynamic material nature, and seven kinds of passing objects sexual projected function. VC language to develop support for the database component of the physical properties of the CAPE-OPEN standards can be achieved with a combination of other programs, the basic realization of the consistency of the data conversion. Software development and theoretical studies carried out in this article, has a strong foundation and practical value. Chemical Properties Database perfect support CAPE-OPEN standards need further research.
