Abstract


With the improving of network speed and computer performance enhancement, teachers’ and students’ demand on diversity of online media has been increasing. At present,the campus network of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) has accumulated a wealth of video resources, such as video news, video coursewares and popular films, so need to build an online streaming media site for teachers and students. This paper aims to build an online video site that is high-performance, security and stability, providing a wealth of streaming media services.In this paper, based on China University of Geosciences (Beijing) video online project, fully discussed in the MVC design pattern and J2EE framework,achieves a multi-level Web application development framework based on Struts, Spring and Hibernate frameworks.The integration of DWR framework and the SSH framework, gives full play to their strengths.The present system uses DIV, CSS design pattern and Struts tag to achieve presentation layer; Spring’s IoC container achieves a system of loosely coupled modules,Spring framework implements the model layer neatly; Struts framework to control the process constitutes a clear control layer; For the use of Hibernate framework, the database more in line with the manipulation of the object-oriented thinking; The introduction of DWR framework, realizes client and server-side asynchronous data communication, enhances the system’s interactivity and improves user experience significantly; The optimization of linux server, provides safe and efficient environment for the operation of the system;At last, use Apache JMeter giving the system stress tests, providing reference data for the system’s capacity and performance.Through the treatise of split page, picture uploads, encryption, Chinese garbage disposal technology, the system realizes the design in the security and user experience. At present, the system has been debugging by the Apache JMeter stress tests and officially deploymented on servers for one month, all the functions of the system run normally.It is proved that, SSH framework is an excellent and multi-level framework to achieve J2EE standard, suitable for the development of stable and efficient enterprise-level Web services applications.
