Abstract


City is the place that the modern people look forward to, more and more flow to the place where represents modern, flourishing and rich in material. But people still don’t care about that there are more environmental pollution, the hot island effect of the city, noise pollution and the dramastic reduction of the green area etc. in the city. The problem most needs to pay close attention to is the improvement of the city environment at present. The construction of the modern city park has already been pushed toward the frontline by the extension and development of the city which could help resolving the city environmental problems. But the design level of Chinese modern city needs more innovation, crystallization of east and west, various design theories to guide urgently. The development of the modern city park needs to absorb the most successful experience from the construction of park continuously.The private park of Chiang-Nan is a precious inheritance of the whole mankind cultural in the history, which includes the combination of nature and person, absorb inspiration from nature, advantages from others, creation of viewpoints from limited space, resident in country and creat a splendid atmosprere.These park construction theories include the great natural philosophy thoughts, the poetry atmosphere for residing, whose spirit cultural ecosystem and natural ecosystem match with each other and melt together. Therefore, in the construction of the modern city park, we make use of the natural culture for the design, combining the technique of construction of the private park of Chiang-Nan, to increase the cultural content of the city park, expand the history culture, and to creat the poetry atmosphere. We should develop the classical theory of the park in the modern, and take its essence, give up its Weaknesses, combining together with the modern theory of the park, to look forward new ways of park’s construction.
