Abstract

Recreational agricultural garden is a new developmental mode of green industry which integrates economic benefits, ecological effect and production benefit. Landscape Design and development of this mode relies on the village and is limited by the history and culture of village and natural environment factors. On the contrary, agriculture garden is also the good carriers of regional rural cultural heritage and play an important role on the protection of cultural resource. Therefore, this article focuses on how agriculture garden’s landscape design reflects a country’s geographical and cultural characteristics, highlights its unique traditional villages in the countryside and cultural of flavor.On the use of literature, investigation, case validation and other research methods, combining with field trips, through the 78 star leisure agriculture in Hunan Garden Landscape Survey and Analysis of Regional Culture, leisure agricultural park reflects the summary of the problems of regional culture. Applications theory of landscape design, location-context and landscape aesthetics to the new theoretical basis for explore local culture leisure agricultural park in landscape design. In practice, summarized and presented the Cultural Traditions of leisure agriculture garden design ideas and design methods, and use it in actual case design. The major findings are as follows:1. Through the survey of local culture Image in Hunan village, combining general situation of geographical and cultural landscape resources in Hunan province and the development actuality of Recreational Agriculture Garden in Hunan, sum up ten types of Recreational agriculture Garden landscape which can reflect the local culture of Hunan.2. Through the survey on Regional Cultural Landscape design for 78 stars level a griculture garden in Hunan province, found the problems as here:lack of knowledge of recreational agriculture, rural image loss; similar construction, lack the depth of excavation for regional culture of the country; rough quality of geographical and cultural landscape, poor viewing effect; no respect for rural environment; Messy style and lack of overall sense.3. Penetrate from the adapt to the local natural environment. regional cultural space design, continuing rural regional culture to explore the recreational agriculture garden landscape’s design ideas and methods based on local culture.Recreational agriculture garden landscape design based on regional culture should fully tap the rural regional cultural characteristics, be integrated into the landscape design in order to create a truly regional and cultural characteristics of rural leisure agricultural park to enhance its image and competitiveness. Therefore, it can be developed more healthy, stable and sustainable.
