Abstract


China's rapid economic development, especially the rapid growth in the tertiary industry in the city office demand continues to increase, many cities longing and the planning and design of the market demand for the construction of the Central Business District . This article focuses on this reality background to understand the central business district of urban design, urban design is a means and tools to solve the physical design of the Central Business District , through the use of the physical space of the central business district from the perspective of the application form laid a reasonable framework for the development of functional and spatial form of the two basic problems of the organization, control and guide the formation of the central business district . In this paper, on the basis of the evolution of the concept of the central business district and the formation of the basic theory of cognitive work characteristics , combined with modern urban design , defined the scope of the study and control of the Central Business District Urban Design elements system . And in accordance with the practice of urban design in the face of more control factor system is broken down into basic elements of the three levels of the specific elements and control content . Basic elements , select the actual case of the five foreign central business district quantitative and qualitative analysis , design the basic framework of level two basic control functions and spatial form summarizes the characteristics of elements from the city , and put forward the objectives and principles of urban design . Specific elements to the central business district of Suzhou urban design study , the content of the six specific control elements of the land features , architectural features , traffic function , architectural form , open space , visual landscape , control techniques for analysis and control points , and control elements of language into urban planning and management to make some suggestions .
