Abstract


Acid rain pollution has done plenty harm to environment and it has been very significant in Sichuan basin for long time.Situated in south of Sichuan basin,Yibin City is also facing very heavy acid rain pollution.However,relevant researches have been well carried out.It is of high significant to make study on the acid rain pollution of Yibin City to investigate the degree,mechanism and influencing factors so as to develop sound prevention strategies and provide useful reference to the surrounding areas.With rain monitoring data obtained from 2001 to 2005,the acidity degree and full chemical composition in Yibin City are assessed and analyzed,and the influencing factors such as soil composition,air quality,weather,social economy and so on are investigated in terms of formulation mechanism.The acid rain pollution is forecasted based on the master plan of Yibin City,and the strategies and measure are thus proposed on the key findings.The main results are as follows,①Precipitation in Yibin City is acidified and has done plenty harm to the city; rainfall definitely affects on acidity,e.g.,rainfall acidity in January,February,November is quite high;and PM10 has obviously buffering effect on the acidity;②Acid rain of Yibin is belonging to a vitriolic and nitric mixed type;ion gross is not the dominant factor to acidity;the rainfall acidity is closely related to the concentration of SO42- and NO3-;whereas the concentration of NH4+,Ca2+ and Mg2+ has positive restricting effect to acidity and that of Ca2+ is more significant;③The conductivity and pH value has poor relationship to environmental air quality;SO42- is of significant relationship to atmospheric SO2 concentration;and climate, natural,topographical and geomorphologic conditions and industrial special distribution property have significant impact on acid rain formulation;④Once Yibin City achieves the development targets in 2020 and the industries will be reorganized,acid rain pollution will be alleviated.However,in short time,the situation of acid rain in Yibin will not be reversed,and if SO2 is not well controlled,the pollution will be even worse.⑤The Strategies and measure to the acid rain prevention and control should be comprehensive and prevention-first.Source abatement is of high priority.
