Abstract


Historical and cultural environmental are important parts to the protection of historical and cultural city.If the elements which constitutes the overall pattern of the ancient city and the environment surrounded are threatten,the features overall outlook and the essence of urban design will be lost.Even their historical and cultural atmosphere of the ancient city will be lost.So the protection for the ancient city is not only ancient artifacts or sites,the non-heritage and cultural heritage sites constituting the environment of space should be taken more seriously.We should protect buildings and natural environment as a whole in modernization,and focuse on the maintenance of the entire historical region environmen which including the ecology and culture. Economic development,urban expansion often leads to the neglect and indifference to the historical and cultural environmental in the protection of ancient city.How to maintain the city’s diversity betterly,how to protect and continuite the historical and cultural of city effectively?This paper will take the protection and using to historical and cultural environmental in the Austral region of Xi’an city as the subject of the research on the basis of resonsiderating the protection of historical and cultural city at present.This paper will proceed with the landform space and the atmosphere of historical and cultural which are constituted with mountains and rivers,temple and so on to seek the ways and means that could solve the problem of protection and using of historical and cultural environmental on the view of the history of architecture and urban planning major.This paper induction the way of protection and utilization from the urban inheritance protection theory and urban design perspective;then,collection and collation the material of historical and cultural environmental in the austral region of Xi’an,study the historical variance of the constituent elements,analysis the impact to its urban development;take investigation and analysis to get out of the existing of the austral region of Xi’an city.Finally,to explore the examples of "The tourism master planning of Chang’an district in Xi’an city" so as to obtain the specific measures and the effective way of protection to historical and cultural environment.
