Abstract

Asphalt pavement construction cycle is short, ride comfort is the main form of high - grade road . Currently, the domestic high-grade highway asphalt pavement type mainly includes two types of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement and cement concrete pavement asphalt concrete overlay . Asphalt pavement cracking destruction countries in the world the problems encountered , the asphalt pavement failure modes include: fatigue cracking , rutting , cracking and temperature . To carry out the study of the Mechanism of crack formation and crack growth behavior of asphalt pavement can be more comprehensive evaluation of the mechanical behavior of the road , clear crack propagation stress state and the expansion path , further understanding of the mechanism of road damage and early damage and road engineers asphalt pavement design and maintenance guidance , has a special significance for the promotion of the healthy development of China 's road transport infrastructure . Consider the road surface temperature field and the traffic load , the calculation method of the stress intensity factor fracture problem , and proved that the structure of the six - node triangular and eight - node quadrilateral two singular isoparametric elements . Analysis of the crack tip singularity field , and discusses the mixed mode crack fracture criterion and extended length . Prepared accordance with the principles of fracture mechanics , the 2D ANSYS finite element program , the analog temperature load and traffic load crack propagation under trabecular asphalt . At the same time in test system of INSTRON1341 materials under fatigue testing of asphalt trabecular obtained trabecular asphalt crack path and compared with the results of the finite element program , I loaded ( tension loading ) is the main driving force of crack propagation , II type load ( shear load ) crack offset affect the conclusions from the crack angle . The combination of fracture mechanics and finite element method provides an effective way to solve the asphalt pavement crack propagation . Procedures for the preparation of crack propagation path and asphalt mixture fatigue test of awareness and understanding of asphalt pavement structure damage and early damage mechanism has important theoretical and practical value of the works .
