Abstract


With the rapid socio-economic development , it is inherent in the lifestyle and living form continued to change China for thousands of years in the life of accumulation of deep human environment is growing international trend of annihilation , and gradually lose the clear local face . Beijing traditional courtyard building doors and windows as the appearance of the symbol of the traditional culture , tracing its historical overview , system analysis and comparison of climate , topography, political change , pointed out that its unique , typical , and the necessity of the existence and building doors and windows of rationality, combined with traditional design elements of the doors and windows at home and abroad successfully used typical examples demonstrate the courtyard continuity and development of the potential and possibilities: that is not limited to the inherent shape pattern decoration and styling , and more emphasis on \Seeks to clarify the future design of rational use of traditional architectural elements of the basic design principles and approaches in order to explore the road can be sustained in the spirit of traditional Chinese architectural culture in the development of a diversified design waves .
