With the worsening oil crisis and the deterioration of ecological environment, the pure electric vehicles which have the advantage of energy saving and environmental protection have become the inevitable trend of development of the automotive industry. To this end, stable, reliable and advanced vehicle network communication technology has become the focus research in this area, the research significance is very important. With the purpose of improving the operating efficiency and real-time detection of the pure electric vehicles, the topic has carried out on the vehicle CAN bus communication network research, completed the real-time monitoring of the network node information on the CAN bus, achieved the design of test platform for pure electric vehicles.The vehicle network is mainly based on CAN bus to achieve. Motor control unit, battery management system unit and other small-car power supply device unit are included in CAN bus node. Central processing node receives and sends important information through the CAN bus, the information is sent to the network nodes to be controlled and handled by CPU, at the same time, CPU receives information from the network node, and to judge and treat properly. At the same time, the main node information (speed, mileage, battery cushion, etc.) is displayed on LCD screen by the use of serial communication interface, and realize the intuitive, friendly and real-time display and monitoring of the vehicle information.The automotive network technologies, CAN bus protocol specification, CAN-bus network scheduling methods related to vehicle content are researched in the paper. Based on embedded system, we use S3C2440A chip produced by SUMSUNG companies as the main controller, the purpose for designing and debugging work on hardware and software for the vehicle network has been finished, and has completed the design of graphical display interface, the design of test platform validation of the work. The basic work has been achieved and realized the desired results, to achieve a, and has realized intelligence and networking trend for the pure electric vehicles.
