Abstract


Basic education at the very bottom of the whole education system is the cornerstone of national education part, the key is to improve the quality, but also the urgent need to build a harmonious society, it is a nation to the great rejuvenation of infrastructure projects. World, Singapore as a rising star, their social civilization and progress praised by the world wonder, and this is often attributed to its success in basic education. China and Singapore belong to Asian cultural circle, by the far-reaching influence of Confucian culture, historical development, there are many similarities, this article attempts to Singapore to study the target country, with its characteristic development of basic education basis for the study, hoping for our country is on the rise basic education reforms do something useful exploration. Therefore, this article from Singapore tortuous historical development and the special conditions to start to show their diverse cultural backgrounds and intricate race relations, in such a situation of basic education to integrate the diverse culture, language, etc., to strengthen the cohesion of the national , the integration of race relations, the rapid development of the economy to provide different levels of qualified personnel.
