Abstract


Since the research on the theory of corporate social responsibility rose in the 20th century, enterprises around the world have paid more and more attention to fulfillment of social responsibilities. With the economic globalization and China’s enter into WTO, corporate social responsibility quickly spread in China and attracted increasing attention. Under the background that our market economy is gradually improved, the fact that enterprises become independent market main-body and shoulder more social responsibilities becomes the modern society’s general expectations and requirements for enterprises.State-owned enterprise is an important pillar of national economy. Central enterprise is the main force and leader of state-owned enterprise; it is the backbone that enables state-owned economy to play the leading role; it is critical for developing advanced productivity, enhancing overall national power and promoting stable, healthy and coordinated development of economic society. As one of the backbones of central enterprise, FAW Group always pays attention to environmental protection, has an insight into long-term interests, adheres to overall, coordinated and sustainable development with the society and environment, constantly deepens consciousness of social responsibility and makes efforts to get trust and support from the society, by which it has strengthened its own competitive power, built a good image of conscientious enterprise and got increasing understanding and support from the society.Before drafting the paper, I referred to a lot of books, masters’and doctors’papers as well as conference materials on corporate social responsibility and some relevant research results. Taking the corporate social responsibility strategy of China FAW Group Corporation where I work as an example, I analyze the seven aspects: promote independent innovation and science and technology progress, constantly improve sustainable profitability, strengthen resources saving and environmental protection, guarantee production safety, safeguard employees’legitimate rights and interests, stick to legal operations and integrity, take part in public welfare. First of all, I brief the development and practice of corporate social responsibility theory, research on the definition of corporate social responsibility and identify the basic meaning of central enterprise’s social responsibility. By analyzing the basic status and existing issues of central enterprise’s performance of social responsibility, I systematically analyze the issues of FAW Group’s performance of social responsibility. According to FAW’s reality, I come up with some suggestions on its fulfillment of social responsibility, in the hope of perfecting its social responsibility fulfillment system.The creative ideas of the paper are: combination theory with practice, deep investigation and research on FAW Group’s corporate social responsibility strategy and actual data is the basis; while analyzing the current status of corporate social responsibility, put forward that enterprise should make efforts from the three aspects of itself, government and society to promote enterprise to actively fulfill its social responsibility and make all parts in the society reach agreement on corporate social responsibility, and perform social group organizations’supervision function, which has a guidance meaning to solve practical issues.
