Abstract


Since 1998,73 pine trees dead of pine wilt disease were found at the Gangpan hill which was in Qiuqun village of Fenghua. Because of the deficiency of the preventing experience to pine wilt disease, we deal the dying trees only by cutting and burning on site. Under the situation of no prevention, diseased area and dead ping trees reached to a record high number of 37260 and 136000 respectively in 2000. At the same time, pine wilt disease was found in Xinchang county and Shenzhou county adjacent to Xikou scenic spot, the epidemic situation of pine wilt disease almost encircled Xikou scenic spot. Xikou scenic spot, one of the earlist 5A scenic spots, has 12000 old pine trees which exhibit unique tourism culture. Since the pine trees are old and thin, the average height of the trees is 25 meters.General control is difficult to achieve the desired goal, therefore, it is important to find a unique and effective control methods for the pines. Then through testing to determine the integrated control measures received a good result.(1) Through the observation of the life history of the media Monochamus alternatus, we know the biological characters of Monochamus alternatus and take chances to kill the medium insect by measures which can reach the goals of cutting off the medium of pine wilt disease.(2) The experiment indicates that the fungus powder of a wei has the function of touch-killing and stomach-poisoning to Monochamus alternatus.If the fungus powder of a wei contains BT fungus powder,it has the function of stomach-poisoning to Monochamus alternatus.And also wilt goes into the tree.When pilt goes into the Monochamus alternatus again the second year,the BT can kill the Monochamus alternatus adults. When Monochamus alternatus is making up the nutrition,spray the powder to the forest branch of the crest.It can effectively reduce the population density of Monochamus alternatus and cut off the transmission so as to achieve the purpose of prevention of the pine wilt disease(3)According to the disadvantage that common spray and powder cannot spray the whole tree,it is another effective way to protect the safety of the pines in the scenic spot that choosing injection to inject the pill to the tree.The pill is delivered to evert part of the tree by the pine’s delivering function which can prevent the pine wilt disease. A test screens abamectin and emamectin benzoate. The two drugs have a high activity on pine wilt disease.For trunk injection, the effect is obvious, which is currently the most effective control method for pine wilt disease.
