Abstract

Since the 20th century, 90 years , container transport has increasingly become the main form of international transport . Worldwide international port status determination , increasingly depends on container transport and the actual level of comprehensive ability . The so-called international shipping center , main base ports ( international transit hub ) , the region and other regional international hub port, feeder ports of the points, it mainly depends on the size of the container volume . Therefore, how to develop the container terminal to make the development of Caofeidian more reasonable , to achieve a large marina , a large iron and steel, large petrochemical, large electricity strategic goal is worthy of the important issues . In this paper, the development of domestic and international container shipping industry to start , first summarize the container terminal patterns of development and the various methods used for strategic analysis , and secondly at Caofeidian development of container transport on the basis of the status quo , focusing for its development within depth analysis of the external environment , while noting that the Caofeidian in the existing shortage of container transport , and container throughput analyzes and forecasts , and then using the SWOT analysis method, Caofeidian container terminal development , the comprehensive analysis of external conditions put forward appropriate strategic choices made ??in the end of the paper container Caofeidian development goals , ideas , construction timing and policy support and control mode.
