Abstract


Short-term traffic flow prediction is to support traffic control systems, traffic guidance systems, intelligent transportation system is one of the key technologies subsystem . Traffic flow is a typical nonlinear time series , need to find an effective and robust nonlinear forecasting methods . Combination forecasting model is the current short-term traffic flow forecasting the main strategy , and \development \These two points are the focus of this study . The main research contents and results are as follows: ( 1 ) the \, and its reliability and robustness of a preliminary analysis and proof. Meanwhile, to further improve the signal to noise ratio of the non-linear transformation to improve the ideological and gives four basic forms of low-level non-linear transformation , to improve traffic flow prediction accuracy . This not only gives the four low-order non-linear transformation mathematical proof , but also from the wavelet transform and power spectral analysis perspective proves the effectiveness of non-linear transformation to improve signal to noise ratio , and finally in Matlab simulation and experiment also confirmed this a result. ( 2 ) will be introduced to the bootstrap method consists of five single forecasting model combination forecasting model, effectively improved the predictive effect ; and , respectively , including seven kinds of single forecast model and twelve kinds of combination forecasting model to study the different samples number of training effect on the combination forecasting compared combination forecasting model simple average , variance derivative method and the merits of Dickinson Law prediction , and different combinations of predictive models and the results of different prediction methods are given theoretical variation explanation ; Dickinson optimal combination of improved weight coefficients provide direct experimental basis . ( 3 ) study the dynamics of ordinary and adaptive control theory method for short-term traffic flow prediction when the sample size effect on the prediction accuracy for the further combination forecasting model provides a new basis for model selection .
