Abstract

With the national economy dramatically speed up the process of rapid development and urbanization , urban traffic congestion has become a major social problem , a direct impact on people's quality of life . The recent development of intelligent transportation systems can effectively ease urban traffic pressure . The system on the basis of the existing public transport reasonable scheduling of public transport vehicles , by virtue of the modern state-of-the-art electronics, information and communication science and technology to enhance the initiative of the public to take the bus . In this paper, the intelligent public transport bus vehicle location and arrival time prediction two aspects of a study and the corresponding algorithm . CAN bus - based public transport vehicle positioning for transit vehicle location . Public transport vehicles run data extraction and transmission technology based on CAN bus and GPRS network ; take advantage of the bus Terminus data processing module vehicle data received for processing , in order to achieve the positioning of the public transport vehicles . Designed for the positioning of the vehicle hardware implementation module . Public transport vehicles based on CAN bus arrival time prediction algorithms for bus vehicle arrival time prediction . The algorithm bus vehicle arrival time is divided into sections of the travel time , site residence time and road intersections residence time of three parts . To the method of linear regression analysis on the basis of the extracted data on the bus run time of these three parts , respectively , to predict , and ultimately obtain transit vehicle arrives at the predicted time of each site . The experimental verification of public transport vehicles based on CAN bus arrival time prediction algorithms . The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has high accuracy and strong practicality .
