Abstract

In this paper, the scramjet engine with a dual - cavity straight combustion chamber as the research object , focusing on gas fuel mixture under cold flow conditions , flame structure , the cavity resistance and thermal test conditions and comparative analysis of the two - cavity single cavity flow structure , analysis and interpretation of the dual- cavity stable flame enhance the cause of the burning . Under cold flow conditions , the use of numerical simulation to study the flow field in the combustion chamber wall transverse hydrogen jet . The results show that : the hydrogen jet are mainly located in the sprue the concave cavity only a small amount of hydrogen distribution . The cavity is arranged in series , the rear cavity of the fuel penetration little effect , fewer internal fuel with respect to the front cavity ; arranged in parallel , the recessed cavity has little effect on the fuel distribution , the flow channel with respect to the single concave cavity Preparation pressure increased. Under cold flow conditions , the use of numerical simulation of single / dual cavity resistance . The results show that : the resistance of the single cavity increases with increasing depth ; arranged in series when the distance between the two recess cavity resistance has little effect . Hot test conditions , the use of High Speed ??Photography shooting flame structure , focusing on the ignition process of hydrogen ignited kerosene and hydrogen gas , kerosene stable combustion flame structure , the following conclusions flame picture : small fuel equivalent ratio, close to the orifice closer to the rear wall of the cavity and the shear layer region surrounded stable combustion region ; cavity in series in terms of the front cavity is heated and blended fuel , extending the dwell time of the fuel , after the recess provides a stable ignition source , and will re-ignite the combustible gas mixture stream blew maintain stable combustion of the combustion chamber ; parallel in terms of the cavity , the recessed cavity generated shock wave incident on the flame on enhanced partial combustion, the combustion zone can be enhanced relative distribution of the degree of congestion of the combustion chamber , promoting combustion proceeds .
