Abstract

This paper analyzes the artillery exterior ballistic measurement and correction technique based on the theory to a bottom concave shells as background , we propose a use of micro- accelerometers and magnetoresistive field sensors measure axial acceleration and muzzle velocity projectile design, developed a prototype and carried out experiments and ground range test , mainly to do the following aspects of the research . Proposed the use of magnetoresistive sensors for speed and muzzle velocity measurement. First, the sensor output sinusoidal voltage signal waveform shaping filter processing into a square wave ; each wave can be accurately obtained after counting the number of revolutions shells . According to the axial velocity projectile speed and the relationship can accurately calculate the instantaneous axial shells out the muzzle velocity . In order to eliminate the accelerometer centrifugal acceleration , dual acceleration sensor configurations assay shells centroid axial acceleration , flying projectile muzzle at the moment , rising phase of the acceleration sensor to start collecting the acceleration , and then by the onboard microprocessor calculates the real axis solution to acceleration . Against a bottom concave shells correction fuze requirements developed by the main processor TMS320F2811 DSP chip onboard ballistic measurement system hardware circuit , focused on solving the onboard systems that require high resistance to overload , low power , high precision out key issues such as time zero muzzle designed magnetoresistive sensor and accelerometer signal conditioning circuits , A / D conversion circuit , a data storage circuit , communications interface circuits, and DSP control circuit , the preparation of the various parts of the hardware control circuit to work software modules to achieve a muzzle velocity and axial acceleration measurement software algorithms . Ground experiments and range test showed that: magnetoresistive sensors measure muzzle velocity and dual axis accelerometer measuring acceleration method is feasible , accurate data , the measurement device has a high resistance to overload the viability of anti-jamming capability harsh environments , meet Correction Fuze ballistic parameter measurement requirements. The technology has been successfully used in an army of military ballistic measurement and correction system , users have been well received.
