Abstract

Objective: To observe in vitro counterpulsation (external counterpulsation, ECP) ??of coronary artery disease in patients with diabetes urine albumin , insulin-like growth factor-1 expression , and to explore the possible mechanism of action . Method: September 2005 to January 2007 the hospital treated 120 cases of diabetes mellitus (DM) and Guan Xin (CAD) patients . The patients were randomly divided into the EECP group ( 63 cases ) and control group ( 57 cases ) . EECP external counterpulsation therapy ( in vitro anti- Bo methods see below ) , to control the symptoms of angina attack nitroglycerin group received conventional therapy plus . The control group received conventional drug therapy , plus isosorbide dinitrate and atenolol combination in 30 cases, plus isosorbide dinitrate 27 cases . Isosorbide dinitrate daily dose of 30-60mg, Articaine lol daily 12.5-50 mg, with the application of other medications , blood sugar control by antidiabetic drugs and not give insulin therapy . In the counterpulsation treatment for 36 days , that is three courses per patient gender , age , blood pressure , heart rate , cholesterol , triglycerides , respectively statistics , fasting venous plasma glucose , urine albumin content , insulin -like growth factor -1 (IGF- 1 ) , parallel to the 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) examination to evaluate the in vitro IABP role the delaying and treatment of coronary heart disease and diabetes . Results: Compared with the control group , EECP significantly reduce coronary heart disease with diabetes blood pressure , blood sugar , cholesterol , urinary albumin was significantly reduced , insulin-like growth factor-1 significantly increased , the difference is highly statistically significant (p < 0.01 ) , can reduce triglyceride levels in patients , the difference was statistically significant ( p <0.05 ) . Conclusion: The study found that in vitro anti Bo inhibition of coronary heart disease in patients with diabetes urinary albumin excretion , promote the role of the insulin-like growth factor-1 secretion , thereby reducing blood sugar , improve glomerular filtration function , which may be external counterpulsation Bo effective treatment of coronary artery disease patients with diabetes mellitus one of the mechanisms .
