Abstract


In this thesis, a health education and psychological intervention on quality of life of glaucoma patients , choose from October 2007 to May 2008 , the Second Hospital of Jilin University ophthalmology residency at the glaucoma patients were treated , divided into three groups according to the random number table and health Education Unit . Routine guidance and system health educational therapy for two weeks , respectively . The conventional guiding patients of the control group was prescribed medication and regular follow. Health Education Unit for a variety of health problems and psychological state , respectively guidance . Systematic health education , and the formation of glaucoma sufferers Club . Hygiene education to patients and their families , to raise awareness of self-care . Respectively enrolled before the end of the weekend , the second weekend and two months visits , fill in the visual function damage eye patients quality of life scale . The results showed that : there are two groups of patients before the intervention visual function - related decline in the quality of life . Health education group and the control group comparison , before and after the intervention at each time point health education group and the control group survival quality total score there are significant with difference ( P lt ; 0.01 ) , the symptoms and , as the functional aspects of score , physical function score no significantly difference (P gt; 0.05); health education group in the first weekend psychological score was significantly higher (P lt; 0.05), in the second weekend social activities of the health Education Unit score was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P lt ; 0.05) . The quality of life score increment and the educational level of patients a positive correlation. Health education and psychological intervention can significantly improve the visual function of glaucoma related quality of life .
