Deer antler and its related prescription spermatogenic marrow, kidney yang, gluten bone health and other effects. Modern pharmacological studies have shown that deer antler preparations can increase heart coronary blood flow, enhanced myocardial contractility, accelerated heart rate, increased systolic amplitude, increase cardiac output, deer antler extract the pharmacological effects and the mechanism of action of biological control rats with chronic heart failure were studied. 130 Preparation of SD rat anterior descending coronary artery ligation after myocardial infarction with chronic heart failure (CHF) were randomly divided into antler extract 5g, 2.5g, 1.25g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> three dose groups, captopril 50mg kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup>, as well as the control group and the model group; velvet antler extract dose groups were given a corresponding dose of deer antler extract, the control group and the model group were given distilled water 10ml kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> ig gavage once a day, for four weeks in a row, in the second, detect cardiac function index in four weeks, four weeks to detect myocardial apoptosis and myocardial I, the expression of collagen type III and renal medullary collecting duct AQP2 mRNA expression. Observed the effects of deer antler extract for heart function in rats with CHF and left ventricular morphology, myocardial apoptosis and myocardial I, the expression of collagen type III and renal medullary collecting duct AQP2 mRNA expression. Rat heart function and left ventricular morphology echocardiography was used to detect type B. Apoptotic cardiomyocytes index (AI) by terminal deoxyribonucleotide transferase (TDT) with fluorescence-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) method determination. Myocardial Ⅰ collagen type III and renal medullary collecting duct AQP2 mRNA was measured by in situ hybridization (ISH). Modeling after three weeks, the CHF rats appeared wall, the gradual expansion of the ventricular septal thickening. Continuous administration of two weeks after the deer antler extract can prevent and delay the process of CHF rats, LVIDd LVIDs IVSd IVSs, LVPWd and LVPWs expansion, in particular, can narrow LVIDs (P lt; 0.01) inhibit the deterioration process, thus improving ventricular remodeling. Velvet antler extract 2.5 gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group compared with the deer antler extract gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup>, 1.25 gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group effect is more obvious. Modeling three weeks after CHF rats decreased heart pump function. Administered two weeks and four weeks after the deer antler extract can significantly improve the the CHF rat heart pump function, can improve EF, FS%, CO, compared to more heart failure value was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), deer antler extract 2.5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group and captopril group improve EF, FS% compared to no significant differences (P gt; 0.05 ), deer antler extract 2.5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group role the best, followed by 5 g kg -1 sup> · d < sup> -1 sup>, and 1.25 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup>. The low velvet antler extract each dose group expression of the CHF rat cardiac apoptosis compared with model group, both with a significant difference (P lt; 0.05), deer antler extract 2.5 g kg -1 sup > · d -1 sup> between the group and the captopril group was no statistical difference (P gt; 0.05), and deer antler extract group 2.5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> is better than 5 g kg 1 sup> · d -1 sup> group, 5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> better than 1.25 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group. Deer antler extract group type Ⅰ, Ⅲ collagen expression is low compared with the model group, compared with a statistically significant difference (P lt; 0.05), deer antler extract 2.5 gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group and captopril group had no significant difference (P gt; 0.05), and deer antler extract 2.5 g kg -1 sup> · d > -1 sup >. Group than the 5 gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group better than 1.25 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group. Severe heart failure model rats renal medullary collecting duct the AQP2mRNA expression with the normal group were significantly higher than with heart failure severity, AQP2mRNA expression will also be raised. Deer antler extract the 2.5 gkg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group and captopril group compared with the model group, the expression was significantly down-regulated AQP2mRNA but velvet antler extract 2.5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group than high captopril the group AQP2mRNA the expression. The antler extract 5 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group and 1.25 g kg -1 sup> · d -1 sup > group compared with the model group, the expression of AQP2mRNA have come down, but the extent of its downward far less antler extract 2.5 g kg- -1 sup> · d -1 sup> group and captopril group. Prompted the velvet antler extract the CHF model rats AQP2mRNA can reduce expression. In summary, deer antler extract on rats with chronic heart failure left ventricular morphology, improved cardiac function; able to reduce myocardial apoptosis to reduce myocardial Type Ⅰ, Ⅱ collagen precipitation, thereby inhibiting left ventricular remodeling; and reduce CHF rat renal medullary collecting duct AQP2mRNA expression. That velvet antler extract has potential clinical value in the treatment of chronic heart failure.
