Abstract


The rise of the personal PC, microelectronics technology and the rapid development of power electronic technology, numerical control technology undergone a fundamental change, which led to the sixth generation nc system - PC numerical control system, also called the open CNC system. This paper discusses the Windows platform based on the real-time control software design method, compared with the advantages and disadvantages of each method, after the "PC movement control CARDS (DSP)" this kind of double CPU structure to achieve lower machine software real-time control, and presents the motion control card application development points and interpolation pulse output examples. Lower machine real-time control software of each function module for the modular encapsulation, and provide the step by step, servo interface, can meet the needs of different users. The drive system using digital ac servo driver, and fit to design and production of electrical logic control system (including high voltage logic control, motion control card and ac servo system, hand pulse generator and ipc operation panel interface design), completion of the XK5030 type vertical knee type milling machine to control, realized the numerical control system of the actual machining operation. This topic research methods and results for PC based on the development of the open numerical control system provides the theoretical basis and practical experience.
