With the growing demand for network applications , people used network protocol in the WINDOWS environment safety, operability , many of the new requirements . The network protocol can not meet the needs of network applications in the WINDOWS environment , WINDOWS network protocol environment driven development to become the focus of people 's studies . This article will explore network protocol implementation techniques made ??under WINDOWS . The basic idea of this paper summarizes the WINDOWS environmental network protocol -driven development , the network protocol of the light right to drive the overall design and module design and development , and light the right protocol driver to achieve . Briefly introduces topics, background , and analysis of the protocol stack structure status quo in the WINDOWS environment ; NDIS layer interface specification , including the miniport driver and protocol layer drive , and the cross on to the next interface ; TDI Interface Specification , the main basic operation , and call the relationship between the layers ; WINSOCK interface brief , summarized based on the network protocol driver implementation techniques . Design and implementation , network protocol driver of a light weight for specific applications , and describes the main data structures and function processing flow , and construct a point-to-point test environment for the validation experiment .
