Abstract


Grid is an emerging technology , is in constant development and change them . But could simply say , the grid is an information society, network infrastructure , it will realize the interconnection of all resources on the Internet , including computing resources, storage resources , communication resources . Grid based on the sharing of resources for the purpose of remote support computable resources and concurrent access , high-speed networks to connect geographically distributed computational resource consisting of a high-performance computing and information services with a single system image environment. Makes the task scheduling in large - scale distributed environment becomes a complex problem , because the grid has a wide area , dynamic , heterogeneous characteristics , task scheduling algorithm performance a direct impact on the use of a grid system rate and throughput . How to schedule tasks to meet the needs of users is a challenging problem . This paper introduces the concept , characteristics and research status of the grid , and then describes the architecture of the grid , and currently more popular five-story hourglass structure and open grid services architecture OGSA , etc. are described . Research task scheduling and several task scheduling algorithm , such as Min -Min , genetic algorithm GA ant algorithm AA , Agent - based task scheduling , task scheduling algorithm based on task pool , which devised a new task scheduling algorithm - Load Bandwidth Algorithm. It mainly consider two factors: load balancing and quality of service QoS ( In this paper, we consider network bandwidth ) , and finally the simulation algorithm designed use Optorsim grid simulator , based on the simulated results, the scheduling algorithm Load_Bandwidth Algorithm optimization calculation the best choice to reduce job execution time and storage resource utilization .
