Abstract


The extensive use of P2P ( peer-to-peer network technology ) , occupy a large amount of network bandwidth . In order to more effective protection and management of network , P2P traffic control has become an indispensable part of the firewall . Identification of P2P protocol is the premise and basis of its research and control . Currently, most firewalls value reach to identify and control P2P traffic by the analysis port number and the application layer characteristics . However, with the rapid development of P2P technology , today's P2P software can take advantage of the dynamic port , protocol encryption technology penetrate the firewall , so that the the firewall flow control mechanism can not play a role . Based on the above background , the design of a complete set of P2P traffic control program . The program combines two identification methods based on machine learning and feature-based value : on the one hand , based on the identification of machine learning methods for traffic identification and bandwidth limitations ; On the other hand , using eigenvalue - based identification method to identify the behavior of the corresponding flow and its management . The paper first analyzes firewall P2P traffic control technology status quo that currently exist in P2P traffic identification and management problems . Then solve the problem , propose a set of complex P2P traffic control program and the program and the design framework described . Analysis and research , to choose a representative learning data traffic identification method based on machine learning , K-Means algorithm classification model library , and then use the NN method to identify P2P traffic . Characteristic value identification method proposed the effective eigenvalue analysis idea , describes several P2P protocols , and high - speed string matching algorithm , designed to identify the traffic management module based on eigenvalue . Finally, the analysis of this paper, the P2P traffic control program , its advantages and disadvantages , and gives the future research directions .
