Abstract


In recent years, with the continuous expansion of the size of the IP network and the number of users , the quality of service , network security and network reliability requirements also increasingly high network testing and network management tools to ensure efficient network , the importance of reliable operation means. Optimization of this study IP network measuring instrument graphical user interface and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) - based distributed network measurement achieved. First , according to the characteristics of the the network measuring instrument characteristics of human-computer interaction and MiniGUI graphic user interface software , and to achieve efficient GUI design ; Secondly , for the portable test function of the instrument and the user input requirements , optimize design IAL (Input Abstract Layer) the input engines ; Finally , according to the the distributed layout requirements of remote instrumentation , design -specific MIB (Management Information Base) library, and to achieve the SNMP-based network management functions , remote measurement instrument based on this feature effective monitoring and management of the local monitoring instruments to facilitate access to the measurement and analysis of remote measuring instruments , the middle of the measurement data and instrument attributes , to ensure DUT normal efficient operation . Finally , for the deficiencies of the system and the subsequent development of a number of recommendations .
