Abstract


Under the morden high technique, the combat mode and manner of moden war have changed greatly. Agent-based modeling that regards the complex adaptive system theory as its theoretic basis offers a new way to set up a combat simulation. It doesn’t emphasize the concrete structure of networks of agents but bases on the mutual effects between adaptive agents and other subjects or environments so as to do researches on the emergence of the whole. As a direction of the researches on the theory, the complex networks research the relationship between local and whole from the angle of network’s structure and its evolvement. If taking both agent-based modeling and networks of agents into consideration and then connecting the two together, we can not only dig the individual mutual action deeply, but also deliver concrete reseaches on the relations among individuals and the forms of networks.All above can help to get a deep comprehension on conducts. This paper combines the two methods and uses it to combat-modeling.Firstly, a kind of framework of the complex multi-agent network based combat model is proposed, which is composed of the combat environment model, combat agent, complex multi-agent network. Complex multi-agent networks are the networks which are abstracted from relationships between agents.Secondly, the complex multi-agent network based combat model is proposed in process. The model takes the combat process as the changing process of complex multi-agent network according to agents’ behavior. Then paper abstracts some network parameters of complex multi-agent network to describe the combat efficiency in combat process or effect. A kind of simulation combat strategy and a research methlod of combat model are proposed.Thirdly, a battle front is studied by simulation. With the application of the models and corresponding modeling methods, a complex multi-agent network based combat model is established for it.Based on the model, and in a series of simulation experiment, this paper compares the model and the operational model of complex network, and then initially simulates the networks’ resist in battle front.
