Abstract


With the continuous development of information technology , more and more enterprises to business-critical systems are built on top of a distributed database system . As the foundation and core of a variety of information systems , the reliability and performance of distributed database systems become the focus of growing concern . Be monitored in order to ensure the reliability and performance of a distributed database system , it becomes particularly important . How real-time monitoring of distributed database systems , to ensure that the system is a high-performance continuous operation has become an important research topic of theoretical significance and practical value . In this paper, research background, a business system for distributed database performance monitoring software , advance warning , flexibility and reliability of the presence of some of the problems in the real-time monitoring , designed and implemented a CORBA - based distributed Oracle database monitoring the system aims the database 7 × 24 hours a day monitoring and accurate early warning of problems that may occur to ensure the database systems to high-performance continuous operation . The main work of this paper carried out on the basis of comparative analysis of the main database monitoring tools and summarize their advantages and disadvantages , as follows : 1 . Designed CORBA-based distributed database monitoring system architecture , based on the structure of the system function the module has been divided , and elaborated on the role and relationship of the various functional modules . For monitoring the complexity and variety of features , presented based on the level of content , user-friendly and effective to reduce the the distributed monitoring tremendous network communication overhead . Prediction model , and three predictive models ( static model , linear model and acceleration model ) is applied to the system , thus further reducing the network communication overhead caused by distributed monitoring . 3 configurable and scalable monitoring strategy was designed and implemented to facilitate the user to set different monitoring strategies for different being monitored nodes . 4 . CORBA-based distributed database monitoring system , and system performance tests . The test results show that the system can simultaneously monitor 50 of the Oracle database , and the performance was less affected nodes being monitored .
