Abstract


The digital image stabilizer has a very broad application prospects in the field of the national economy and national defense construction , its research focus is how fast and steady to remove or reduce the non- smooth motion of the image sequence interframe . Papers around the problems of translation and rotation jitter digital image stabilization , a more in-depth study on the problem of the motion estimation , the main research content and results include: First, the paper introduces motion estimation method for translational motion analysis the principle of the block-matching algorithm , the factors that affect its performance , research modified way of other methods for the block-matching algorithm , a new estimated translational movement of the algorithm . The algorithm will bit plane matching and Diamond search strategy combining the face of full-frame of the full search block matching algorithm made ??improvements in the amount of data involved in matching , the match criteria and search strategies tripartite . Compared with the original algorithm , the paper algorithm to maintain accuracy at the same time , which greatly improves the speed of operation. Secondly, the paper introduces a motion estimation algorithm can handle complex movement ( including translation, rotation and scaling, etc.) , and analysis of a large rotating the difficulties caused by jitter motion estimation , to learn of the rotational motion of the image registration and other sports separate deal with the idea , put forward based on the the angle histogram rotation angle estimation algorithm . The algorithm improves the voting pattern of the conventional histogram method , when there is a large rotational angle (θ> 5 °) in the inter-image can be fast and robust to estimate the difference of rotation between the images . The algorithm not only can be used for digital image stabilization , and can also be applied to the field of image registration , image stitching . Experiment with multiple sets of data , the results proved the validity of the above algorithm . Based on the above innovations , the authors have been published and hiring three papers , including two conference papers , journal article .
